1st and 2nd Grade Present a Reader's Theatre
Catholic Schools Week
Celebrating the Four Corners of Service, Nativity students reflected on service to Family, Self, Parish, and Community. Other activities included celebrations of our Catholic School Community, with Open House and a Spaghetti Dinner, as well as Student Appreciation Day, an afternoon of Nativity BVM Trivia Quizzo. Prayer Partners joined as teams answering questions on the school, parish, faculty, students, and faith facts.
Care Packages for the Parish Homebound
"Rigor and Relevance" defines the curriculum at Nativity. Skills learned in the classroom provide a foundation for activities and interests beyond the classroom.
Franklin Mint Credit Union - Nativity has formed a partnership with the Franklin Mint Credit Union; a Youth Education Specialist from FMCU will be presenting an ongoing money management series to the Nativity students.
Fashion Show - 4th grade constructs sports uniforms, tuxedos, and gowns from specific geometric shapes and and metric measurements within their creations, incorporating key concepts learned in math class to a real-life application.

Middle School Trip - 6th, 7th, and 8th grades enjoyed a day of retreat and reflection, visiting the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and the Grotto at Mt. St. Mary's College. The afternoon was spent exploring the Battlefields at Gettysburg.
Youth Ministry - This parish-based ministry is organized by several of our Middle School faculty members. Each month, 7th and 8th grade students share in a social or service-based event.
Jump Rope for Heart - Hoops for Heart Sponsored by the American Heart Association, this program raised awareness of the importance of heart-health and physical activity while promoting the value of community service
